The identities of two Redlands residents who died in a head-on crash involving two vans on Jan. 17 in north Redlands have been confirmed by the coroner.
The crash occurred at 9:27 a.m. last Thursday, when a Chevy Safari van was headed south on Orange Street south of the Santa Ana River wash, and a Toyota Sienna minivan was northbound, coroner's personnel said.

Three people who were in the Toyota died and six people were hospitalized - five from the Toyota as well as the driver and sole occupant of the Chevrolet. Six of eight people in the Toyota were not wearing seat belts, according to Redlands police and coroner's personnel.
The coroner has identified two of the deceased as Yun Jiang Liu, a 31-year-old male resident of Redlands, and Hsueh Yun Liu, a 58-year-old female resident of Redlands.
