A homeless man who was struck by a vehicle and fatally injured Saturday night when he tried to walk across Redlands Boulevard was identified by the coroner Tuesday.
David Gregory Smith of Redlands was struck by a vehicle Saturday night on Redlands Boulevard between California and New Jersey Street, the coroner reported.
Smith was trying to cross "," Redlands spokesman Carl Baker said in a statement.
Paramedics transported Smith to Loma Linda University Medical Center where he died from his injuries at 10:11 p.m., the coroner reported.
