Emergency Night Work Announced for I-10 Between Yucaipa and Redlands

The night work schedule was announced Monday afternoon by Caltrans and it begins 9 p.m. Monday June 18 with lane closures expected on the westbound 10 between Live Oak Canyon Road and Wabash Avenue.

Emergency night work has been scheduled this week on Interstate 10 between Yucaipa and Redlands, Caltrans District 8 announced Monday afternoon.

The slab replacement project is scheduled to begin at 9 p.m. Monday June 18 with lane closures on the westbound 10 between Live Oak Canyon Road and Wabash Avenue, Terri Kasinga of Caltrans District 8 said in a phone interview.

"Lanes will be reduced with two lanes remaining open during the work," a Caltrans announcement said.

Crews expect to work 9 p.m. each night to 5 a.m. each morning through Saturday June 23, Kasinga said. Work is scheduled on the westbound 10 Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Thursday, Friday and early Saturday work is scheduled on the eastbound 10, between Wabash and Live Oak Canyon Road.
