Four Vehicle Crash Injures One Critically

One person was hospitalized with major injuries after their vehicle rolled several times, according to San Bernardino County Fire officials.

A four-vehicle crash on the westbound Interstate 10 in Fontana caused one vehicle to rollover resulting in major injuries to one driver.

The incident was reported at 9:48 p.m. April 18. San Bernardino County Fire crews said they found one vehicle had rolled over several times and came to rest on its side.

On person suffered major injuries and had been trapped inside the rolled vehicle, fire officials said.

Firefighters treated that driver while also freeing them from the vehicle, officials said. It took eleven firefighters using the Jaws of Life to remove the person from the wreckage, officials said.

That person was taken to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center, officials added.
