Heavy Rains Above Forest Falls, Flash Flood Watch for Redlands-Loma Linda

A flash flood watch was in effect for an area including Redlands and Loma Linda, as well as the mountains north and east of the San Bernardino Valley.

Heavy rains above Forest Falls turned Mill Creek into a rushing torrent just after noon Monday Sept. 10.

A flash flood watch was in effect for an area including Redlands and Loma Linda, as well as the mountains north and east of the San Bernardino Valley.

In Mill Creek Canyon, heavy rain, thunder and lightning continued after 1 p.m., Forest Falls resident Roberta Gould said.

The flash flood watch was through Monday evening, according to the National Weather Service.
