L.A. County Woman Killed in Overturn Crash on SR 330 in Running Springs

The crash occurred at 6:06 a.m. Friday on the southbound mountain road in front of the entrance to a resort, the coroner reported.

A young woman from Lakewood died Friday in an overturn crash on State Route 330 in Running Springs, the San Bernardino County coroner reported.

The crash occurred at 6:06 a.m. June 22 on the southbound mountain road in front of the entrance to a resort in the 31000 block of the 330, just west of the junction with State Route 18, according to the coroner.

A 2002 Ford Focus "occupied by 3 males and one female was traveling southbound on State Rte 330 in Running Springs," a coroner's statement said. "The driver of the Ford lost control of the vehicle causing it to overturn."

The right rear passenger of the Ford, Rebecca Leigh Green, 18, was ejected from the vehicle, the coroner reported.

"California Highway Patrol and Running Springs Fire personnel responded and Green was pronounced dead at the scene," the coroner's statement said.
