Local Humane Society Rescues Dying Horse

The Los Angeles Times reports Inland Valley Humane Society discovered an emaciated horse tied to a bush in nearby Ontario.

According to the Los Angeles Times, members of the Inland Valley Humane Society discovered a starving horse, about 300 pounds underweight, tied to a bush in Ontario, officials said Wednesday.

Humane Society Officers were alerted Tuesday by a passerby, according to the report.

The horse was nicknamed "Mommas" by its rescuers.
