A woman was found deceased, her daughter was hospitalized with injuries, and her 25-year-old son was arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder Saturday in Redlands.

The man's mother was found dead and his sister injured at the home they shared in the 400 block of Doyle Avenue, Redlands spokesman Carl Baker said in a statement.

"Police responded to a call of suspicious circumstances at the Doyle Avenue address shortly after 5:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 28," Baker said. "Officers found the 46-year-old resident dead. Her 21-year-old daughter was found injured, treated by Redlands Fire Department paramedics and transported to a hospital where she underwent surgery. Her condition is unknown."

Police found the deceased woman's son, 25-year-old Pablo Hernandez Jr. of Redlands, outside the home, Baker said. He was taken into custody and charged with murder and attempted murder.
