Man Accused of Possessing Ounce of Meth, Loaded AK-47 Type Assault Rifle
Rick Allen Wilks, 43, of Yucaipa, was arrested about 5 p.m. Saturday at Yucaipa Boulevard and 5th Street, deputies said.
A man was arrested Saturday in Yucaipa and accused of possessing one ounce of methamphetamine and a loaded AK-47 type assault rifle, Yucaipa Station personnel said Monday.
Rick Allen Wilks, 43, of Yucaipa, was arrested about 5 p.m. Saturday at Yucaipa Boulevard and 5th Street, when deputies did a traffic stop and found one ounce of suspected meth inside the vehicle, according to the Sheriff's Department.
Detectives and deputies then served a search warrant at Wilks' residence in the 37000 block of Oak Glen Road, where they found "a loaded AK-47 type assault rifle and drug paraphernalia inside the home," Yucaipa Station personnel said in a statement.

Wilks was booked at Central Detention Center in San Bernardino, where he was held Monday evening on $150,000 bail, according to inmate records.
