Police have arrested a 43-year-old man they suspect used a debit card that had been reported lost.

Joe Toscano, of Grand Terrace, was booked into the Central Detention Center on suspicion of burglary and passing an access card without the owners consent with intent to defraud.

At 8:06 p.m. Friday, a resident in the 22800 block of Barton Road reported a lost debit card, sheriff’s officials said. When officers checked on the card, they said they found several unauthorized purchases on it.
