A man told police he was robbed at gunpoint Monday afternoon on Lugonia Avenue in Redlands and the suspect remained at large, according to a police spokesman.
The incident was reported about 2:40 p.m. Nov. 26.
"The victim was in a parking lot in the 1900 block of Lugonia Avenue, near Nevada Street, when he was approached by an armed man who demanded his wallet," Redlands spokesman Carl Baker said in a statement.
The suspect was last seen in a vehicle traveling south on Nevada toward Orange Tree Lane, Baker said. No description of the vehicle was available.
The suspect was described as a dark-skinned black adult male with shoulder-length dreadlocks, 5 feet 9 inches tall, with an average build, Baker said. He was last seen wearing a plain white T-shirt and dark pants.
