Man Seriously Injured in Vehicle Versus Pedestrian Collision

The man had been crossing Orange when he was hit by a passing vehicle.

A Westminster man was injured Friday when he was struck while crossing a Redlands street.

The collision happened just before 10:30 p.m. on Jan. 18. The 54-year-old man was crossing Orange Street at Shopper’s Lane when a southbound vehicle struck him, according to Redlands Police officials.

He suffered broken bones and a skull fracture, officials said. None of the injuries appeared to be life-threatening. The cause of the accident is under investigation.

Redlands Police are still investigating. They ask anyone with additional information to call Redlands Police Dispatch at (909) 798-7681.
