Marijuana Cultivation, Dispensary Operation Found In Grand Terrace Warehouses

Sheriff's officials spent two months investigating the operation.

After a two-month investigation, San Bernardino County Sheriff’s deputies located a marijuana cultivation operation in a series of offices and warehouses in Grand Terrace.

The commercial business complex located in the 21800 block of Barton Road featured a marijuana growth operation inside of office suites and warehouses, according to a Sheriff’s Department news release.

Also part of the operation was a storefront that was operating as a dispensary, including a waiting area, display counter and office. More than 30 pounds of processed marijuana was seized from the office.

The city of Grand Terrace has an ordinance outlawing the cultivation, sales and dispensing of marijuana, even in medicinal use.

Officers found more than 1,500 plants and more than 15 pounds of processed marijuana from the grow areas. As officers worked the scene, several customers came to the office to make purchases. They told officers they had made purchases from the location in the past.
