Motorcyclist Reported Down on Freeway in Redlands

The motorcycle rider was reportedly sitting on the freeway's right shoulder after being thrown from the bike.

A motorcyclist was injured this morning after California Highway Patrol officials said he was thrown from his bike and onto the westbound lanes of Interstate 10 in Redlands.

The crash was reported at 9:24 a.m. just west of Eureka. The rider may have clipped another vehicle forcing his motorcycle to veer out of control, according to the CHP. The rider was reportedly sitting on the right shoulder of the freeway. According to scanner reports, he may have been thrown as far as 40-feet.

No other injuries were reported.
