Murder Suspect Sought After Highland Shooting

San Bernardino Sheriffs are looking for Timothy Jacob Ravenscroft, who allegedly shot and killed a man mid-afternoon on a busy street in Highland.

A Highland man is wanted for the murder of a man who was shot in broad daylight while walking with his girlfriend on Baseline Ave. two days before Christmas.

The San Bernardino County Sheriffs are looking for Timothy Jacob Ravenscroft, 22, of Highland. According to reports, on Friday, Dec. 23 at 3:40 p.m., the shooter drove up to the couple, shot the man and then fled the area.

His vehicle was described as a 2000 Pontiac Sunbird with a white convertible top and a California license of 6TUZ790.

The victim, Robert James Buchholz, 33, of Rialto, was transported to the hospital where he underwent surgery for a gunshot wound. That next morning, at 1:45 a.m. the victim was pronounced dead at Loma Linda University Medical Center. 

The woman with Buchholz was not injured. No motive has been disclosed.
