Deputies find the items, along with stolen medications, during probation check at a Loma Linda apartment.

A man and his girlfriend were arrested Sunday after officers conducting a probation check found stolen medication and medical supplies in his Loma Linda residence.

About 11:30 a.m. Sunday, deputies arrived at the apartment of James Mariani, 47, to conduct the check. When they arrived, they found Mariani and girlfriend Sue Montgomery, 43, of Running Springs, at the residence.

When deputies began looking through the apartment, they found medical related items and medication that had been taken from the office of Montgomery's employer. Montgomery is a medical assistant for a doctor based in Lake Arrowhead.
