Persons of Interest Identified in Redlands Bar Shooting
Police plan to release tapes of those who may help resolve the case that resulted in the death of a Calimesa man.
Redlands Police have announced they have persons of interest in the case of Saturday’s shooting near a downtown bar.
They will be releasing a video later today. They are asking anyone with information on the shooting to come forward and contact Detective Rob Williams at (909) 798-7688 or Redlands Police Dispatch at (909) 798-7681. Anonymous tips can be provided by texting 274637 using the keyword "REDTIP."
The shooting happened just outside of Charlie Jewells, 1 E. State St., according to a news release from the Redlands Police Department. Witnesses told police several men got into a fight about 1:30 a.m. inside the bar.

Staff removed the men. Moments later a gunman opened fire shooting three of the men involved in the fight.
Kruze Levusi Kuaea, 22, of Calimesa, was fatally wounded. He died at 2 a.m. Another 22-year-old man was taken to Loma Linda University Medical Center for surgery. His condition was still unknown. A 23-year-old man was hurt but was expected to survive, said Carl Baker public information officer for Redlands Police.
