Police Arrest Grand Terrace Graffiti Suspect

A 21-year-old man is believed to have caused about $10,000 worth of damages in the city.

A 21-year-old Grand Terrace resident was arrested late Saturday after a San Bernardino County Sheriff's Deputy found him with spray cans near a sign with freshly sprayed graffiti.

About 11:15 p.m., the deputy saw suspect Mark Scroggins in the area of Barton Road and Arliss Drive, near a sign that appeared to have fresh paint on it. The deputy stopped Scroggins and found him in possession of several spray cans and other graffiti paraphenalia.

During the investigation, officers learned that Scroggins tags under the moniker "Dooser," a suspect believed to have caused about $10,000 worth of damages across Grand Terrace. With Scroggins' permission, police searched his residence and found more evidence linking Scroggins to the moniker.
