POLICE: Body Found on I-10 Freeway May Have Been a Suicide

The body was found just below an transition ramp of the Interstate 215 Freeway.

Colton Police are looking into the death of a man they suspect may have jumped to his death from the Interstate 215 Freeway Interchange onto the westbound Interstate 10 Freeway below.

Witnesses reported seeing the body on the freeway at 2:12 p.m., officials said. The unnamed person was described only as male between the ages of 30 and 40. Authorities said they are looking at the possibility he jumped because a white truck that appears to belong to the man was found on the southbound I-215 transition ramp above where he was found.

The vehicle has been towed as evidence, police officials said. All lanes of traffic were cleared and opened by just after 6 p.m.
