Police Release Video of Murder Victim Before Body Found in Redlands Grove

Investigators disclose for the first time they believe she was a prostitute. The video was taken about 8:45 a.m. Monday Feb. 25 at a Jack in the Box in the area of Fifth and D streets in San Bernardino, according to police.

Police released video Thursday of murder victim Sylvia Marie Flores from the day before her body was found in a Redlands orange grove more than three weeks ago, hoping the footage will generate tips to help find her killer.

Investigators also disclosed for the first time they believe Flores was a prostitute who spent time in the San Bernardino area.

The 23-year-old Perris woman was found deceased by a resident in a grove off Almond Avenue west of Alabama Street, northwest of the Citrus Plaza shopping center, the evening of Tuesday Feb. 26.
