Drunk Driver Caused Crash at Del Taco, Police Said

A Riverside woman was under the influence when she crashed her car in a Del Taco parking in Loma Linda, injuring her passenger.

A woman who was found intoxicated at the wheel of her crashed car in a Del Taco parking lot was recently arrested on suspicion of felony DUI, Loma Linda Police said Tuesday.

Sarah Warner, 23, of Riverside, was taken into custody about 12:30 a.m. Sunday. Police said she rammed her black Volkswagen Passat into the drive-thru curb of a Del Taco at Anderson Street/Tippecanoe Avenue and Redlands Boulevard.

Warner was found in the driver’s seat while a second woman, who had been a passenger, was found lying injured and unconscious next to the car, officials said.

The injured woman was treated at Loma Linda University Medical Center. Warner was booked into Central Detention Center.
