Police: Two Hospitalized in Redlands Drive-by Shooting

Police say both men are expected to survive.

Two men are recovering from gunshot wounds Thursday, after being hit in a drive-by attack a night earlier, police said.

The incident happened around 8 p.m. Wednesday, in the 100 block of West Pennsylvania Avenue, in the vicinity of Orange Street and West Lugonia Avenue, according to police spokesman Carl Baker.

Police got a call of "shots fired" in the area, and "when they arrived they found the victims, two men, ages 28 and 53, with gunshot wounds," Baker said.

"Redlands Fire Department paramedics provided medical aid," he added.  "Both men were transported to a local hospital."

Circumstances surrounding the shooting weren't immediately available as police investigate the case.
