San Bernardino County sheriff's officials are urging residents in the Redlands and Loma Linda area to drop off unwanted and expired prescriptions on Saturday Sept. 29, a designated "Drug Take Back Day."
The Sheriff's Department is partnering with the Drug Enforcement Administration in the effort to prevent pill abuse and theft, according to an announcement Wednesday.
Three sheriff's stations in the Redlands-Loma Linda area will accept drug drop-offs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday:
- Central Station 655 East 3rd St., San Bernardino
- Highland Station 26985 East Base Line, Highland
- Yucaipa Station 34282 Yucaipa Boulevard, Yucaipa
