Redlands 7-Eleven Robbers May be Tied to Other Crimes

Two robbers targeted a Redlands 7-Eleven. Police are checking to see if the robbery is connected to similar crimes that have occurred in the area.

Redlands Police are checking to see if a robbery at a 7-Eleven on Easter has any connection to robberies that have occurred in surrounding cities.

Police officials received the report of the convenience store robbery just after 5 a.m. on March 31. Two men armed with handguns entered the 7-Eleven at 1161 W. Lugonia Ave. and held up two clerks, said Carl Baker, spokesman for the Redlands Police Department.

The robbers forced one of the clerks at gunpoint to open the cash register, Baker said. The men took cash and a purse from one employee, Baker said. They were last seen running south on foot.
