A 27-year-old Redlands man was jailed Monday, accused of raping a teenager this summer, police said.
Tremaine Juanae Hudson-Alexander is suspected in the sexual assault, which happened in June, of a 15-year-old girl, according to Redlands Police Spokesman Carl Baker. He was identified last week through DNA evidence, and arrested Thursday, Oct. 3 at his residence in the 900 block of North 6th Street, Baker said Monday in a press statement.
Details surrounding the alleged attack on the teen were limited, however, Baker said it happened in a carport in the area of Post Street and Brockton Avenue.
Hudson-Alexander was booked at the West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga in lieu of $250,000 bail, according to jail records. He was scheduled to be arraigned Monday.
