Redlands Plans for DUI Checkpoint this Weekend

The heavy traffic makes it especially important to be aware of impaired drivers, Redlands Police officials said.

The Redlands Police Department reminds drivers that a DUI/License Checkpoint will be held in the northbound lanes of Alabama Street north of Lugonia Avenue from 10 p.m. Saturday to 4 a.m. Sunday.

Police officials said Thanksgiving is one of the busiest travel days and the weekend after Thanksgiving traditionally sees an increase in the number of shoppers on the road.

The heavy traffic makes it especially important to be aware of impaired drivers, officials said.
