Redlands Police Arrest Female Robbery Suspect

A 28-year-old transient from San Bernardino is in jail as a suspect in an Oct. 17 strong-arm robbery of a service station.

Redlands Police, with the help of the San Bernardino Police Department, have arrested a woman in connection with an Oct. 17 robbery at a Chevron service station.

Porchia Chisom, a 28-year-old transient from San Bernardino, was arrested Sunday after being interviewed by Redlands Police, police officials said in a news release.

San Bernardino authorities identified Chisom as a suspect on Oct. 27, and located her on Oct. 30, contacting Redlands Police.

Chisom is accused of jumping over the counter at the Chevron at 1580 W. Redlands Blvd. and physically forcing a female cashier to open the cash register before escaping with cash.
