Robber Targets Redlands Bank, Police Seek Public's Help

The robber struck at the Security Bank on Monday.

Redlands Police announced today are looking for the robber who struck a Security Bank.

The robbery occurred just before 9:15 a.m. on Monday in the 200 block of East State Street. Police said the robber walked into the bank at 201 E. State St. and pointed a handgun at the teller and demanded cash. 

He then exited the bank and walked north on Sixth Street, Redlands Police officials said.

The gunman is described as a white or light-skinned Hispanic male, wearing black jacket, blue jeans, a black baseball cap, white gloves and white tennis shoes. He had some black scarf-like material over his face, according to investigators.
