Running Springs Resident ID'd as Motorcycle Fatality on Highway 18
A motorcycle crash was reported at 7:19 p.m. Friday on Highway 18 in Skyforest, according to the coroner.
A man who died in a motorcycle crash Friday Sept. 28 in Skyforest north of Redlands and Loma Linda was identified Tuesday Oct. 2.

California Highway Patrol officers arrived and found Martin E. Harding, 55, of Running Springs, with upper and lower body trauma, the coroner reported.

"Harding was transported to Mountains Community Hospital where he died of his injuries at 8:38 PM," a coroner's statement said. "A passenger was transported to an area hospital for treatment."
An autopsy was to be conducted to determine the cause of death. The California Highway Patrol was investigating.

Skyforest is just west of where old Santa's Village used to be, west of Running Springs.
