Suspected Vandal Nabbed with Help of Video Camera

Redlands Police dispatchers manning the cameras catch the man in the act, police said.

Surveillance cameras helped Redlands Police nab a man they say was vandalizing walls at a Redlands elementary school in the 200 block of East Pennsylvania Avenue.

Redlands Police Department officials said the cameras were activated about 3:30 a.m. Feb. 5, at Lugonia Elementary School.

Police dispatchers briefly watched as two men defaced walls at the school, police officials said.
