Two Adults Displaced by Floor Fire at Rancho Calimesa Mobile Home Park

The fire was reported at 1:27 p.m. Thursday in the 10300 block of Calimesa Boulevard, just west of the Cherry Valley Boulevard junction with Interstate 10, according to Cal Fire.

Two adults were displaced by a fire in the sub-floor of a mobile home Thursday in Calimesa, a Cal Fire spokeswoman said.

The fire was reported at 1:27 p.m. Thursday in the 10300 block of Calimesa Boulevard, according to Cal Fire.

Cal Fire and Yucaipa Fire personnel responded and found one person experiencing difficulty breathing, Jody Hagemann of Cal Fire-Riverside County said in a statement.

The home sustained extensive damage and the American Red Cross was requested to assist the two residents who were displaced, Hagemann said.

The cause of the fire was being investigated, Hagemann said in a phone interview.

The damaged residence was located in the Rancho Calimesa Mobile Home Park, just west of the Cherry Valley Boulevard junction with Interstate 10, according to Cal Fire.
