Two-Car Crash Ties Up Traffic for Hours
One vehicle slams into another on the highway, backing traffic up for hours.
A two-car traffic crash tied up evening traffic for miles on Interstate 10 on Tuesday night, Redlands Fire Department officials said.
At 4:40 p.m., fire crews responded to a crash on the eastbound I-10 just west of Alabama Street.
Two lanes of the freeway were blocked. Firefighter/paramedics provided medical aid and helped block traffic on the freeway until the California Highway Patrol took charge of the scene, fire officials said.

Two were transported to Loma Linda University Medical Center with moderate injuries. Witnesses said the crash happened when one vehicle rear-ended another moving at a slower pace.
Traffic was tied up for two hours. The CHP is investigating the cause of the crash.
