Two-Car Crash Ties Up Traffic for Hours

One vehicle slams into another on the highway, backing traffic up for hours.

A two-car traffic crash tied up evening traffic for miles on Interstate 10 on Tuesday night, Redlands Fire Department officials said.

At 4:40 p.m., fire crews responded to a crash on the eastbound I-10 just west of Alabama Street.

Two lanes of the freeway were blocked. Firefighter/paramedics provided medical aid and helped block traffic on the freeway until the California Highway Patrol took charge of the scene, fire officials said.
