Two men with handguns robbed the T-Mobile phone store in downtown Redlands on Sunday and the suspects remained at large, a police spokesman said Monday.
The armed robbery was reported in the 500 block of Orange Street shortly after 11 a.m. Sunday Sept. 9, a police spokesman said.
"Witnesses reported that two robbers entered the store armed with handguns," Redlands police spokesman Carl Baker said in a statement. "The robbers told a customer in the store to get on the ground and forced employees to the back of the store. They took merchandise from the store and fled in an unknown direction."
The gunment were described as black males in their 20s, both about 6 feet tall, Baker said. One man wore a black hooded sweatshirt and the other wore a red hooded sweatshirt.
No injuries were reported during the robbery.
