UPDATE: Two Juveniles Arrested for Fighting Near Market Night in Redlands

A watch commander said before 9 p.m. Thursday police were dealing with three different juvenile fight calls. Two juveniles were arrested at the scene of an altercation before 8 p.m. near Redlands Boulevard and Citrus Avenue.

Police responded to multiple fight reports involving teenagers Thursday night near Market Night on State Street, and two juveniles were arrested after one altercation near Redlands Boulevard and Citrus Avenue.

"One was released after it was determined that he had been trying to break up the fight," Redlands spokesman Carl Baker said.

The altercation occurred before 8 p.m. Thursday near the ampm gas station on East Redlands Boulevard. Around the corner on the same block, police had one young man lay spread-eagle on the sidewalk in front of the AutoZone on East Citrus for several minutes.

"It's Market Night," the watch commander said. "Some of the kids are on Facebook talking trash about beat-downs, arranging some of this in advance."
