"Your personnel arrived in just a few minutes to remove us from the vehicle. They had to remove a portion of the roof and removed most of the glass to gain access to us as we were trapped.

"They were very professional and took great pains to make sure that we were taken care of and concerned about the glass being shattered and our personal welfare.

"Please thank those members who were on the site working so hard to make sure that we were safe and well cared for. They were our angels as we thought that we would burn to death before they were able to arrive. A very frightening experience for both of us.

"The citizens of Redlands are very fortunate to have such trained personnel to take charge at accident scenes and make a successful extraction without causing injuries."

The letter is signed by Ralph E. Williams, retired Sgt. SBSD, and Elizabeth Wlliams.
