Wear Pink to Rodeo, Support Loma Linda Medical Center
This weekend's San Bernardino County Sheriff's PRCA Rodeo will include a breast cancer awareness night that will include a donation to the hospital.
Some of the country's best riders will take to the rodeo ring this weekend at Glen Helen Regional Park for the 12th annual San Bernardino County Sheriff's PRCA Rodeo.
The event raises funds to benefit several local charities, according to a Sheriff's Department news release. And the rodeo will be happening next door to the annual Boys and Girls Scouts Jamboree at the park in Devore.
Saturday night, promoters are asking "Are you Tough Enough to Wear Pink?" for a night, to bring awareness to breast cancer. Rodeo officials will be giving a donation to Loma Linda University Medical Center for breast cancer research.

Among the other charities that will benefit from this weekend's events are: the Boys and Girls Scouts, the Challenged Children's Rodeo, the 4H Club of San Bernardino, the Yucaipa Equestrian Center, the California State Horsemen’s Association, East Valley Second Chance and several service clubs.
There will be shows today through Sunday. Gates open at 4 p.m. today and Saturday, with the rodeo beginning at 8 p.m. Sunday, gates will open at 1 p.m., with the rodeo beginning at 5 p.m.

Tickets are $15 per person, with a 2-for-1 discount offered for the shows on Friday and Sunday. Children age 6 and younger are admitted free.
