Woman Struck by Vehicles on WB I-10 in Loma Linda ID'd as MoVal Resident

The woman was identified Monday afternoon as Stefanee Gatewood, 19 of Moreno Valley.

A woman who was struck by several vehicles Saturday evening on westbound Interstate 10 in the Loma Linda area was identified Monday as a resident of Moreno Valley.

About 7:55 p.m. March 30, California Highway Patrol officers responded to a 911 call for a pedestrian down on the westbound 10, east of the Tippecanoe Avenue overpass, according to an updated coroner's statement.

"Officers arrived on scene and found a woman with upper body trauma in the roadway and was confirmed dead by paramedics," San Bernardino County coroner's personnel said.

The woman was identified Monday afternoon as Stefanee Gatewood, 19 of Moreno Valley.

The coroner did not say why Gatewood was a pedestrian on Interstate 10. The California Highway Patrol was investigating.
