County Democratic Chairman Kahler to Speak: Redlands Area Democratic Club
The group is scheduled to gather at noon for lunch at Napoli Italian Restaurant, 24960 Redlands Blvd. in Loma Linda, on Saturday Aug. 18. The formal meeting begins at 1 p.m.
Patrick Kahler, newly-elected chairman of the San Bernardino County Democratic Party, is scheduled to speak at a meeting of the Redlands Area Democratic Club the Saturday, organizers said.
Kahler will discuss plans to support and elect Democrats in the November 2012 election, organizers said.
"Kahler has been a 2008 elector for President Obama and has been a delegate to Democratic conventions," a Redlands Area Democratic Club announcement said. "He is the founder of Blue County and has hosted several workshops and been active in voter registration. Kahler is a teacher and coach at San Gorgonio High School."
