Decision on Redlands Christmas Parade Will be Announced at 2 p.m. Saturday

Light showers may continue Saturday and through the weekend until Monday, according to the National Weather Service.

Organizers of the Dec. 1 Redlands Christmas Parade, presented by the Kiwanis Club of Redlands, will hold off on deciding whether to delay due to weather concerns until 2 p.m. Saturday, a city spokesman said Friday Nov. 30.

If the weather fails to cooperate, rain date for the parade will be the following Saturday, Dec. 8.

Light showers may continue Saturday and through the weekend until Monday, according to the National Weather Service.

As of 3 p.m. Friday, the rain chance for Saturday night was estimated at 20 percent.

The theme for this year's parade is "125th Christmas Celebration" and it's scheduled to start at 6 p.m. Saturday, according to organizers.

For those taking part in the parade, line-up is scheduled 4 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. followed by pre-judging from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
