ELECTIONS: Polling Locations Still Busy After Dark in Redlands and Loma Linda

There were lines at the Loma Linda Chinese Seventh-day Adventist Church on Van Leuven Street and at Kingsbury Elementary on Cajon Street in Redlands.

There were lines inside polling locations after dark Tuesday in Loma Linda and Redlands as the closing deadline of 8 p.m. approached.

People parked in a hurry in lots outside the Loma Linda Chinese Seventh-day Adventist Church on Van Leuven Street, and at Kingsbury Elementary on Cajon Street in Redlands.

But voters and their children were patient once in line, and elections officials were courteous and helpful.

Starting about 8:15 p.m., the Registrar of Voters is expected to begin reporting results of voted mail ballots received before Election Day.

At 10 p.m., results of voted mail ballots received on Election Day and results of ballots received from nearby polling places are expected to be reported.
