Redlands Police will be among the agencies participating in national Drug Take Back Day, which allows people to safely dispose of unused or expired medications.
Residents may bring in prescription or over-the-counter medications, with no questions asked, which will be then turned over to the Drug Enforcement Agency for safe disposal.
Prescription container labels or other identifying information may be removed before being brought in for disposal.

The Redlands Police annex building also includes a safe disposal box that residents may use at any time. It is locked and emptied daily.
