'Mexican Americans in Redlands' Book Signing + Presentation at Senior Center

Authors A.G. Vasquez and Genevieve Carpio will be there. The event is scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m. Thursday Aug. 16 at the Redlands Community Senior Center, 111 W. Lugonia Ave.

Representatives of Inland Mexican Heritage and Arcadia Publishing plan to celebrate release of their new pictorial history, "Mexican Americans in Redlands," with a presentation at Redlands Community Senior Center on Aug. 16.

Authors A.G. Vasquez and Genevieve Carpio will be there to sign copies of their work, and a historic photo exhibit will be on display, a city spokesman said in a release.

The event is scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m. Thursday Aug. 16 at 111 W. Lugonia Ave.

Organizers plan to offer a $3 breakfast including eggs, bacon, potatoes, biscuits and gravy, fruit, juice and coffee.
