Senator Bill Emmerson (R - Redlands) announced Monday that he was re-appointed by Senate Rules Committee to serve as Vice Chair of the Senate Budget and Fiscal Review Committee and the Senate Business, Professions and Economic Development Committee.
He was also appointed as a Member of the Senate Human Services Committee, Senate Governance and Finance Committee, and Joint Legislative Budget Committee.
“It’s clear that California continues to face many challenges as we move into the new year,” Senator Emmerson said. “I look forward to working with my colleagues to tackle these important issues and enact bipartisan solutions that will create jobs, improve our economy, and stabilize our state’s finances.”
In December, Senator Emmerson was also appointed to serve as a member of the Senate Rules Committee.
Senator Bill Emmerson represents the 23rd State Senate District, which covers portions of Riverside, San Bernardino, and Los Angeles Counties, including the San Gorgonio Pass and Redlands areas.
