Volunteers Needed for Jumpin' June Food Truck and Brewfest in Redlands

City officials are seeking 75 volunteers for the Food Truck and Brewfest this Saturday, the final June is Jumpin' event in downtown Redlands.

The event is scheduled 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday June 30 in the municipal parking lot at Redlands Mall.

"This is a great foodie event and beer garden, featuring Slummin' Gourmet, WTF (Where's the Fire) Pizza, Thai! On, ZZ Truck, Rolling Sushi Van, Tornado Potato, Suite 106 Cupcakery, Brats Berlin, Lee's Philly, Ludo Truck, Waffles de Liege, Rebelbite, MeSoHungry Truck, Cousins Maine Lobster, Tropical Shave Ice, Baconmania, Hangar 24, Time in a Bottle and State Street Winery," city spokesman Carl Baker said in an announcement.

Tickets for the Food Truck and Brewfest are $5, available at the City of Redlands Development Services Office or at the event. Attendees are urged to bring a non-perishable food donation to benefit Inland Harvest Food Bank.

"Seventy-five volunteers are needed for shifts between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Saturday to assist at the venue entrances and exits with such tasks as setting up and dismantling fencing, tables and canopies, ticket sales and redemption, monitoring exits and entrances to ensure alcohol does not leave the beer garden, and trash removal," Baker said. "In the beer garden volunteers are needed to check customer identifications and possibly assist with sales and serving beer."

June is Jumpin' events started with on June 8 and last weekend's at Ed Hales Park.

"Thousands of visitors packed downtown over the two weekend events," Baker said. "The June is Jumpin' series was designed to bring residents and visitors to experience all that historic downtown Redlands has to offer."
