On Friday, we squeezed in some time to visit the Route 66 Rendezvous. Due to the bankruptcy of the City of San Bernardino, it was kind of ify whether the show would go on or not.
Thanks to Stater Brother's and other sponsors, it was determined that the show must go on. Like most southern Californians most of us are ready for cooler temperatures.
Friday was a very warm day but I tried to overlook it and spotted some eye catching cars. I love the color red, and so you can see some red vehicles that I thought were show stoppers.

But I do love all the colors of the rainbow and there were some beautiful cars that paraded the streets. It was obvious that a lot of heart and soul go into the effort of the owners to get them prepared for car shows. One aspect of Route 66 that I enjoy, are the individuals that dress up for the occassion.
It was early afternoon so I saw very few dressed up in the Rockabilly style, except for two ladies and allowed me to take their picture. I love the look! And as I learned from last time we were here, all were most gracious in permitting me to take their picture.
