Free Workshop for Small Business

The City of Redlands will present the latest in a series of Small Business Workshops sponsored by SCORE Inland Empire on Wednesday, June 27.

Presenter Gail Youngblood will offer advice on setting up a business plan, including such essentials as establishing business goals, understanding your financial considerations, analyzing your market, strategizing your advertising and developing financial reports. In addition, Youngblood will cover the Mission Statement.

Youngblood’s background includes internal auditing, loss prevention, analysis, expenses, accounts payable, accounts receivable and troubleshooting for sales auditing. She has 17 years experience in counseling and workshop facilitation, retail, government, IRS, food and beverage management and inventory.

The workshop series is co-sponsored by SCORE Inland Empire and the U.S. Small Business Administration and designed to help small businesses in areas such as starting a small business, marketing and financing.

The June 27 workshop will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. at the City Council Chambers, 35 Cajon St. This workshop is free, but registration is required.
