Roundtable discussion on nonviolence

Just peacemaking, within the immediate context of the Arab awakening, particularly in Cairo, will be discussed by an interreligious and international roundtable of professors from the Claremont School of Theology and Fuller Theological Seminary.

The discussion, titled “Nonviolent Revolution: Blessed are the Peacemakers,” is scheduled for 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. in the Damazo Amphitheater in the Centennial Complex at 24760 Stewart Street, Loma Linda.

Glen Stassen, PhD, Smedes Professor of Christian Ethics at Fuller Theological Seminary, and an international authority on the subject of peacemaking, will introduce the topic, with a biblical and theological perspective on specific historical cases of just peacemaking.
