The Loma Linda University Health System Department of Plastic Surgery plans to host a health and beauty seminar next week in Riverside, a school spokesman announced Friday.
The seminar will include "a discussion of techniques for making the skin feel more radiant and beautiful," Herbert of Atienza of Loma Linda University said.
The free event is scheduled 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday Nov. 8 at the LLUHS Plastic Surgery Group offices, 3762 Tibbetts St. in Riverside.
"This event is a great way to learn about the latest techniques and technology in cosmetic medicine from leading experts all in a friendly environment where everyone is welcome," Dr. Subhas Gupta, chairman of the LLUHS Department of Plastic Surgery, said in a statement.
The seminar will showcase topics including breast surgery and body contouring; demonstrations of popular treatments, including advanced Botox and filler techniques; and strategies to assess and choose the best possible skincare treatments suitable for each person, Atienza said.
"Attendees will also be introduced to different laser treatment options, facials, peels, and the Dermapen system," Atienza said.
