Loma Linda University Welcomes Potential Latino Students

Loma Linda University is hosting their annual SÍ Se Puede program that introduces Hispanic/Latino High School students to medical careers.

This week, Loma Linda University is hosting their annual SÍ Se Puede program that introduces promising Hispanic/Latino High School students to careers in the Health Sciences.

“Our goal is to stimulate these students in the pursuit of an educational track specifically designed to prepare them for a professional career in the Health Sciences at Loma Linda University,” university officials said.

Students are placed into an interactive learning environment that stresses the importance of patient care, university officials said. They are introduced to variety of health sciences research and laboratory studies with scientist and are get to walk the medical center and patient care areas with health professionals.
