Occupy the Election Panel Discussion Planned Saturday: Downtown Redlands

The event is scheduled 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 27 at Heritage Hall, 255 E. Olive Ave.

An Occupy the Election panel discussion is planned Saturday afternoon at Heritage Hall in downtown Redlands, an event organizer said Thursday.

Speakers from Occupy Redlands, Green Party Fair Vote, Common Cause, and Democracy at Work groups are expected to discuss "ways to better empower democracy in the U.S.," organizer Phill Courtney said.

The event is scheduled 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 27 at Heritage Hall, 255 E. Olive Ave.

Progressive books, DVDs, bumper stickers and T-shirts will be for sale, Courtney said.
